About the Artist
BIO
In 2009 I enrolled at the Academy of Realist Art in Toronto, Ontario where for 9 years I studied in the classical realist tradition. Seeing the progress that I made in my artwork by learning a solid foundation made this method of study more than worthwhile for me. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to attend this school where I refined my skills in learning how to see.
I have since continued my artistic education through many workshops I have taken with various artists. Through all of this I continue to develop my artistic voice and work to convey the beauty that surrounds us.
With my camera I observe the world through a different lens so to speak. Being outdoors allows me to breathe in the beauty around me and able to capture fleeting moments I would not have seen otherwise. Going to a location that feeds my soul and capturing a moment of that place is why photography is such a joy!
